Niagara Review
Mullen expresses her and her supporters concern in hopes to pass legislation that would notify the public when raw sewage dumps are made to our public waters. The municipality dumps raw sewage in our public water on days when the facilities are overloaded, but there is no announcement or any kind of notification to the public. Mullen presented a 20 minute power point presentation describing the many harmful affects raw sewage has on the public water ecosystem and just as importantly the health concerns it causes to our peers.

Because of her presentation, Mullen was successful in setting new municipal legislation that secures proper public awareness when such events occur.
