Craig Kielburger, once young founder of Free the Children Foundation, is coming with his own TV crew to film one of the Toronto houses that is being (re)covered !!!!
Tomorrow, our garden sharing program that was implemented at one of (re)cover inc. first projects will be highlighted and we will be interviewed for Craig’s TV post. The first project (re)cover inc. undertook about a year ago in downtown Toronto was a mess of a construction project when we were first hired for the job. The (re)cover inc. team managed to refresh the place with green technologies and strategies as well as complete the construction disaster.
When spring came along (re)cover inc. suggested the owner of the house be part of a garden sharing program in Toronto- seeing as the owner of the house wasn’t living in the house at the time and the backyard was an overgrown plant paradise. The owner agreed and we were quick to match the owner of the house to two sisters who were participating in the garden sharing project. The owner selected and purchased the plants and supplies and the sisters did the rest.
In the end, the garden was and is full of vegetables and herbs; from raspberries to pomegranates, beans and tomatoes, lavender to peppers, basil and zucchini, watermelon and brusselsprouts, banana and oregano - and it’s a paradise for our Toronto based bees! The sisters maintained an organic garden, while pairing certain plants to support growth. The crop over-exceeded our expectations and there were more vegetables/herbs than any of us could consume…… sharing is a blessing :)
more to come…

Gratitude for doing this submit, I genuinely enjoy the input. Seem foward to reading immediately.
